A great riddle
As many of you know I study biology. So i'm going to ask you a bio riddle.
Two scientist are in the forest walking. One is a chemist and the other is a herpetologist. The chemist sees two snakes on the ground that appear to be mating. The chemist says that the snakes must be mating because of the way they are moving.
The herpetologist says that the snakes are not mating. He remarks that one snake has a diamond shape pattern and a rattle on its tail while the other is red and yellow with white stripes.
How does the herpetologist know these snakes are not mating?
(you may use google to find the term herpetologist)
